From Udine, Venice and the rest of Italy
Follow the Motorway "A4 Torino-Trieste" to the "PROSECCO - Trieste Centro" exit; continue towards Villa Opicina and then towards Trieste Centro. Before reaching the city centre, you should find the University campus.

From Republic of Slovenia
Border crossing point of Rabuiese or of Lazzaretto
Follow the directions to Trieste Centro - via Flavia; you should reach the city centre through the square Largo Barriera and arriving to the street via Carducci. Once in via Carducci, turn right into the street via Coroneo and, following the road as it goes up towards the plateau behind the city, you should reach the University campus
Border crossing point of Pese or of Basovizza
Drive through the village of Basovizza, until you reach an H-shaped crossing. Follow the directions to the city centre. Before reaching the city centre, you should find the University campus.

Drive through the village of Villa Opicina. Follow the directions to the city centre. Before reaching the city centre, you should find the University campus.

How to find the University campus
The Congress Venue is located in the (new) University campus.

Unless you wish to take a taxi, the simplest and cheapest way to reach the University campus is by bus. The buses number 17/ and 39 connect the Railway Station to the University campus, whereas the bus 17 connects the square Piazza della Borsa (very close to Piazza Unità d'Italia) to the University campus passing through downtown Trieste.
The buses are run by the company Trieste Trasporti and you can find route plans and timetables here.
Please remark that you need to buy bus tickets at tobacco shops or newsstands before boarding the bus and you need to validate them as soon as you are on-board. The usual bus ticket is valid for one hour (unlimited number of rides).
How to find the Stazione Marittima Conference Hall https://www.triesteterminal.it/maritime-station
The Stazione Marittima Conference Centre is located on a pier of the Trieste harbour, in the heart of town and within walking distance from restaurants, shopping areas, and main hotels.

From the Central Train Station (about 800 m), take bus n. 8 or n. 30. The stop is in front of the Stazione Marittima Conference Hall.
From the motorway
From the A4 Venice/Trieste Highway (about 27 km), take the “Sistiana/Trieste Centro” exit and follow the directions to the center of Trieste. Once on the seafront, you will see the Stazione Marittima Conference Hall near Piazza Unità D'Italia.
From the airport
From the Ronchi del Legionari airport (about 35 km) take the bus n. 51 to Trieste; you will stop at the Central Train Station. Take bus n. 8 or n. 30, the stop is in front of the Stazione Marittima Conference Hall.
How to find the Molo IV

The Trieste Passenger Terminal, built in 2007 by the Port Authority of Trieste, manages the Maritime Stations and the passenger support services. On Molo IV is Warehouse 1, built in 1903 in the final phase of construction of the Punto Franco Vecchio (Old Tax House), which was used in the past to store various goods and as a boats terminal. Today the building has been completely renovated and set up as Maritime Station for local sea lines and connections with quick ferries for Slovenia and Croatia, as well as containing interesting exhibition areas. Molo IV is located in the point linking Punto Franco Vecchio and the city in an exclusive position, just a few metres from Piazza dell'Unità d'Italia, and offers a magnificent view over the city waterfront.

From the Central Train Station (about 200 m), take bus n. 8 or n. 30. The stop is in front of Molo IV.
From the motorway
From the A4 Venice/Trieste Highway (about 27 km), take the “Sistiana/Trieste Centro” exit and follow the directions to the center of Trieste. About 200 m after the Central Train Station in the direction of Piazza Unità D'Italia, you will see the Molo IV.
From the airport
